It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of one of our members, Jody Terwilliger. Brother Terwilliger was employed with Nelson Tree Service, performing storm work at Jersey Central Power & Light Company in Morristown, NJ. During work, on Thursday, August 13th, Brother Terwilliger was struck by a large tree limb and was transported to Morristown Hospital. OSHA has opened an investigation into the incident.
We are sorry to say that we were informed today of his passing. Brother Terwilliger was initiated into Local 94 in December of 2018 and he was 58 years old. Our deepest condolences go out to his family. Further details and arrangements will be released when the information becomes available.
