he last quarter of 2019 has certainly been a busy time for Image removed.Local 94, as our members are seeing the benefits of collective bargaining. Since October 1st we have been in continuous negotiations, as 3 of our many contracts are due to expire by year end. I am pleased to report that as of today, we have successfully renegotiated 2 of those contracts, and have a Tentative Agreement on the 3rd one. Our Line Clearance Tree Trimmer members recently ratified a new 3 year agreement for JCP&L and PSE&G property's. The contract provides for wage increases of 4.5% - 3% - 3% and increases in Health Care contributions in each year of the agreement. Our members at WRS Environmental Services Company recently ratified their new 3 year agreement of 2% - 2% - 2% in wages, increases to the Health and Welfare Fund, and other improvements. And the 3rd contract we have been negotiating with NAES, just reached a Tentative Agreement for our members at the Linden Co-Generation plant. If ratified on December 19th, will be in effect until December of 2022, providing wage increases of 3% - 3% - 2.75%.

I would like to take a moment and recognize one of our Officers, who is leaving us to enjoy the retirement life after 37 years of service in the IBEW. In 1982 he was initiated into Local 1515, of the IBEW, when he was hired at the Byron Nuclear Generating Station of Common Wealth Edison in the state of Illinois. In June of 1985, he transferred to Local 1576, IBEW, when he was hired at Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Station. Following our merger in 1994, he became a member of the newly formed Local 94, of the IBEW. Throughout his career he served the local in many capacities, including Shop Steward, Executive Board member, Treasurer, and the position he held upon his retirement, Recording Secretary. On behalf of Local 94, and its members, I would like to wish Steve a long, happy, and healthy retirement.

With the holidays coming up, I would also like to wish all of our members and their families a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and a Happy and Safe New Year.
